Amazing snowboarding experience at one of the main venues of the 2018 Winter Olympics
Better experience than riding at Mount Norquay located in Banff Alberta.
But nothing beats the view of the Rockies, haha. Maybe the Swiss alps.
I will most definitely repeat my visit here

Various hills for varous skill levels. You can rent most gear cheaply to include snow suits. The mountin was not packed and people understood the basic mountain courtesies.

Loved the experience here. My first time learning to ski and the instructor was a young but expert competitive skier from Argentina who taught so well that i was able to do the east slope within a few hours! The place has got flipped for all classes, for skiing out for snowboarding, and it’s quite easy to rent the equipment for all activities.

A more reasonable price skiing resort in Korea. Facilities are a bit old, but the skiing location is next to the hotel and the various condos, very convenient.

Overall I would say it’s a good experience there.
There is ski rental, lockers, convenience store, Cafés, buffet, as well as Lotteria (fast food), all the necessary amenities for skiing.
The mountain relies on Artificial Snow as it does not snow quite often (probably 3 times a week in mid-Dec)
The price of the Snow Park was a little too expensive. There a different types of Ski Pass, including all day (9am to 10pm), 1pm pass as well as well as Night Ski (6-10pm)
**closed from 4-6pm for night ski preparation
Most staff there speak Korean too (only some speak English)
How to get there (from Seoul): Book coach bus/pre book taxi ride/KTX bullet train
Recommend KTX bullet train. Only 1h 30min ride from Seoul Station
There is a FREE shuttle bus available to and from Phoenix Pyeongchang. Goes around Pyeongchang town which includes KTX Pyeongchang Station as well as Bus Terminal. If you are taking KTX there, you can take the shuttle bus.
The only problem with the shuttle is that if you are carrying luggage(s), you may have a hard time because you have to climb up the bus.
Also, the official website can be improved. A lot of information cannot be found there. (Ski lift opening hours, price etc.).
