Aside from the smell of a man in his forties or fifties smoking a cigarette when he enters the room, it's all summarized in two photos. The motel next door in Sokcho is cheap, perhaps because the price is 30,000 won, or because the rooms are in Gunbari. When I asked what was near Sokcho, I was told that there was only Mt. Seorak, but a humorous man greeted me.
