Hike this beautiful mountain in Dec, there were very few hikers. No snow at the time but some path were frozen with ice. One particular spot was pretty dangerous as there were hikers who slipped and fell.. Definitely bring along crampons during winter hike, you might not need it, but when you do it will be a lifesaver.

Loved this hike in early July weather. All Trails rated this hike as hard, with about 4 hours to complete round trip, which was pretty accurate. The first 1.5km are mostly stairs, and the remainder rocks, 3.3km one way. The trails are mostly shaded which made for a comfortable hike, bring plenty of water. The temple and views from the top are breath taking. Anyone stationed at Carroll should definitely check this place out.

It was a really good experience!
There is a lot of People especially elder people, a lot of families are having a hiking session with their child too. Since I come in autumn the vibes are really good with chill air

It's a great place to visit if you are living near Gumi and you have a free day. The trek is of 3.5 km and the summit is around 1km high. There is a waterfall and cave on the way to the summit. There also a temple at the top. Overall it was a good experience for me. Reaching here is also easy as a public transport bus is available to go to Geumosan.

Date of climb: July 28th, 2019
Climbing Geumosan Mountain was truly an awe-inspiring adventure that left me with lasting memories. Our large group of Central Asian and ASEAN students embarked on the journey with the goal of reaching the mountain's summit, which stood at an impressive 977 meters in height. The initial part of the climb was relatively smooth, with well-marked trails and beautiful scenery along the way. As we approached the last 150 meters of the ascent, however, the road became noticeably rough and poorly paved. Despite the rough road during the final ascent, the stunning views from the summit made it all worthwhile.
