What an amazing stay at Harusida in Jeju! It was our first time here in Jeju and we wanted to relax and escape the bustling city. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with a Japanese ryokan feel. We had a private jacuzzi bath outside of our room with a great view. We arrived at Jeju airport around 4:30pm and arrived to the hotel by 5:40 after getting our luggage (45min taxi ride ~34,000 won). I chose not to rent a car but it’s recommended if you’re with family or want the freedom to drive around to multiple places, otherwise you can just taxi to nearby restaurants. There are some walking distance ~10min walk but we opted to get delivery so we could relax in our room and jacuzzi, which the hotel owners graciously helped us with! Definitely come here if you want to relax with your family or significant other. The location is on the southwest side so it’s close to Osulloc, Hello Kitty Island and other great black pork restaurants that’s around 10-15 mins away by car (or taxi). It’s about 1h45m to the east side of the island so I would stay an extra 1-2 days if you’re planning to do other activities on the east side of the island. 10/10 would come back here again next time I want to come for a peaceful getaway!

As the name of the hotel suggests, I was able to rest comfortably. The hotel was quiet and clean, the staff was friendly, and the welcome tea made me feel good, so I had dinner at the hotel, and the food at the restaurant was delicious and enjoyable. After enjoying an open-air bath while looking at Sanbangsan Mountain with the bath bombs provided, I wrapped my tired body in the provided gown and laid down on the bed. The soft and fluffy bedding enveloped my entire body. It was so comfortable, as if I was lying on glutinous rice cake, that I was able to sleep soundly. This is a hotel that pays close attention to even the smallest details. Thanks to you, my trip to Jeju became better.

Room: we got the normal room and it’s already pretty impressive. Big and spacious. It has an outdoor tub 🛁 which we didn’t use as it was raining on the few days when we were staying there. Room is clean and the bathroom is great. Service: they don’t turn down the room like hotel. Just throw the rubbish and top up towels and water. They are also very insistent on the check in time at 4pm though we sense that the room isn’t full, weather is raining and it’s cold and we were still made to wait Location: isn’t fantastic as we got to drive everywhere for food and there isn’t anything around 1km.
