Charlie's place is a home than a hostel. He's is very kind and helpful, runs the place on his own. Everything is organized and clean. There are notes and signs that will help with everything.
I definitely look forward to coming back to jeju and staying at his place

The house has the feeling of being in a family home. The considerate owner and his adorable cats also add to the warmth of the place. I was in a two bed room which was great value for the price paid. Adequate facilities. I thank the owner for his kindness and hospitality.

-The location is good, you can arrive with just 20 minutes walking from the airport. -Breakfast is self-cooking, but you have plenty of options of good food, coffee and juices. -Room is clean and well equipped. -The owner of the guesthouse is so kind and helpful, he gave us a hand for rent the bikes and he gave us good advices about it. -We were able to leave the backpack in the guesthouse during our bike trip around the island.

A cool guest house with a nice area for socializing. The owner was always available and helpful with tips about what to do / and how (e.g. Mt. Hallasan hike). There have been also one month old cats during our stay 😍
Only thing though: the cleaning of the toilet could have been a bit better (seemed not been cleaned during our two days stay) - the rest (shower, room, kitchen, etc.) was clean.

I stayed here with a friend for 4 nights while exploring Jeju island. Charlie the host will make this hostel feel like a home and he is extremely kind and always willing to help in regards to everything. All communications beforehand were quick and efficient too.
The location of the hostel is very conveniently close to the airport and reachable by bus or taxi;
He has towels available upon a daily basis for use;
Breakfast is included from 5 to 9am and that includes: choice of juice, toast with jelly/peanut butter or nutella, any form of egg (make yourself) and a tea or coffee;
Close by many convenience stores;
Not too far from the bus stop;
It is an extremely cozy place;
It is a small yet social hostel with good opportunity to meet other travelers;
Plenty of bathroom available on different floors as well as toilets;
Some downsides and needed improvements:
Smelly towels, like they are washes but just not hot enough to get rid of the bacteria;
❕The intense cat pee smell in our bedroom/beds that resulted in our clothes smelling like that as well;
The hostel definitely needs a deep clean and could do with some more regular dusting;
The blankets get reused after a person leaves and is not washed;
The fact that one of the three cats came into the bedroom and was there and probably slept there for hours on someones bed. Cats in a common area is one thing, but cats in your guests beds is something entirely different;
If you leave your food alone for a second the cats will be all over it, so you need to make sure there is always another person in the room watching your food;
I am all for having animals in a home, but there are limits to where they should be able to go. This place has room for improvement and could potentially be absolutely amazing. For now it's a homey hostel with a chill vibe and that is a tiny bit shabby.
