Really amazing. The service, rooms, friendliness are absolutely incredible. There is even a large shared outdoor terrace on the third floor. The hotel has existed for more than half a century. The interior is great. The beds super and everything clean for a very friendly price. The rooms are large with bath and refrigerator. Everything close by, the market, lots of restaurants, the sea, etc. A real gem in Jeju city!5

Hotel Daedong is right next to Dongmun Market and Jungang Underground Shopping Center.
The owners can speak English, very rare to find English speakers in Jeju. It's a real plus. And they were just flat out wonderful people. They were very helpful with directions, what bus to take to go where, where to eat, places to visit. They were always ready to help. This an affordable hotel with 5 stars service.
It'd be hard for me to stay anywhere else after staying here. The room was very clean and comfortable. The water was nice and hot; I'm sure in winter months it'd be great to have, nice, hot water.
The wifi here is strong and works wonderfully.4

Omg I was pretty amazed. Very old hotel and room is really small. But really warm and clean(except the big towels.. ㅎㅎ a little old). Has a gallery(via gallery) and cafe-room in the 1st floor. The owner was really kind. Locations is the best. Don't get scared by its appearance. It's better than you think for sure.4

Ok place. Not much room. Is quiet here over the weekend in June. Theres carpark and very basic amenities. Feels seasoned. What i like is they have foyer before yoilet and room. Shared balcony so you feel more spacious. Very near the market. Simple place3

We were happy with the room at the first considering its convenient location and price, although there are few amenities provided, no toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, or pajamas.
But later found the service here is... can't say kind. The guy who works here just can't be bothered providing services.
