Had the best staying experience here. I can't say anything better about the hotel facilities. The room was large enough for the family to rest in, and the bed was very comfortable. What particularly surprised me was the restaurant’s breakfast menu and quality. Next time I come to Jeju Island again, I will definitely choose Shinshin Hotel Jeju Ocean Branch. Just amazing place!!

Room with European King Size is great - Kitchenette with Washing Machine, Dining Room for 4 and Master bedroom. Walking distance to Food Street and Olle Market - awesome as you can spent couple of days and nights to eat all the street food and seafood of Seogwipo. Though the exterior is nothing to shout about and needs painting.

This hotel is ShinShin Hotel Jeju Ocean. The address is 14 Jungang-ro, Seogwipo-si, Jeju. When you look for it on Google maps the name is in Korean. So here’s a little help for all foreign guest. Before you leave the airport change your money there if you arrive before 4pm, that’s when they close. If not then you would have to wait till the next day to exchange your funds at a local bank. This hotel has a 7-eleven on the first floor. Also the rooms has a washer only, no dryer. So if you want to wash your clothes you can, and just hang dry them while you’re out exploring. Bring your own detergent if you can but you can purchase them at the store below. The breakfast buffet is located at the other ShinShin hotel across the street. It’s about 15,000w or about $12. It’s ok, but if you want fast food there’s a McDonald’s 5 min bus ride or can just walk if you want to go for a stroll. Getting here from Jeju airport is either costly or takes a while. You can take a taxi from the airport if you arrive in the evening. Cost about 46,000w or $35. The road to the hotel has lots of turns so you could get dizzy or car sick. On a cheaper route you can take the RED line 600 Airport Limousine (basically a charter bus) and get off at Saetgijeong Park, it’s right after the Jeju World Cup Stadium. There you would have a 5 min walk to the hotel. To use the public transportation I recommend getting a Tmoney Card. Not sure if there’s an app where you can auto load funds. But I highly recommend it. I use google maps to navigate around, helps with the different bus routes. Google translate also helps since Jeju is a little foreign friendly.

The accommodation I chose was - Spacious size of 30 pyeong - Less than 100,000 won per day including breakfast for 2 with quick reservation and discount - 5-minute walk to Jeju Olle Market -About 100,000 won including breakfast for 2 people This is an accommodation I occasionally visit for my education in Jeju Island. Spacious rooms, accessibility, and cost-effectiveness The downside is that you have to give up the view and the room condition is reasonable for the price. The biggest advantage is the sense of spaciousness. It has a bidet installed and is a smart TV that supports Apple Air Play and Chromecast, so it connects directly to mobile devices. Internet speed is good, over 80mbps for both wired and wireless.

It's close to Olle Market and Lee Jung-seop Street, so you can walk to it, and the room is spacious, so I booked it for 53,000 won. The bedding is clean and there is no dust on the table. If I come to Seogwipo, I will definitely make a reservation here first. There is parking on the 2nd to 5th underground levels, and there is also a convenience store on the 1st floor, which is nice. I highly recommend it
