Haven't stayed at the hotel but this hidden gem is full of beautiful scenery. 5 star hotel and has a nice view of the sea. It's also been shown in a lot of K-drama. To appreciate it fully is to be aware of Korean history and culture. The outskirts looks like how everyday Koreans housing in the old days. The more structured looks you see in shows and Seoul are for those who were richer in the old days. While they have this look the inside is modern design. While my visit was just for tea, it was certainly a charming visit. Will go back again.3

Stayed at the Royal Suite. Beautiful room & hotel grounds. Helpful staff. Everything is fantastic at this hotel except for 2 things:
1) Shower pressure is extremely low.
2) All the benches/seating area on the grounds are under the hot sun. Only great for views in the morning...too hot the rest of the day :(3

The staff was friendly, unfortunately the room was small and quite dark. The breakfast was a bit disappointing, no cappuccino etc. The café is overpriced (more than 10 euros for an iced latte).
