The rooms at Hotel Charis are tastefully decorated and designed with your comfort in mind. They offer a homely ambiance that makes you feel like you're staying in a well-appointed home rather than a hotel room. The attention to detail is evident in the carefully selected furnishings and amenities.
Despite its cozy vibe, Hotel Charis doesn't skimp on modern conveniences. You'll find all the amenities you need, including free Wi-Fi, comfortable beds, and clean, well-maintained bathrooms.
Hotel Charis also offers a unique feature for travelers seeking added space and convenience – duplex-style rooms with kitchen facilities. From outside, it's an impressive facade, developing in height.
If you enter, the location is not bad, about 300 meters to subway station Jakjeon, the bus stop is few meters from entrance to the hotel. Moreover, there is a big mall Home Plus just in front of the hotel.
The room was quite clean, but looking cheap. The sound isolation at room entrance is not enough: you hear everything happening in corridor.
Breakfast was good assorted, but the coffee machine had labels only in Korean.
Staff was helpful, polite and english speaking. Excellent WiFi for guests.

Pros:
- hotel is clean and convenient.
- A lot of stores, restaurant and coffee shop around.
- Staff is polite.
- Bus stop in front of the entrance
Cons:
- you must through stairs to go to lobby from either entrance. So if you bring large luggage or using wheelchair, you might be in trouble. Also no staff is bother to help you.
- only 2 available lifts for guest
- 95% channels are in korean maybe only 3 or 4 use english.

The standard rooms are pretty tiny but we got a free upgrade after the electrics blew out, and the deluxe room is quite nice.

Very basic hotel. Our stay was not very good mainly because the AC didn't work, so we had to crack open the windows. It was loud outside, so it was tough to sleep, plus there were no screens on the windows, so our room was full of mosquitos. We complained, so hopefully management will do something about it.
