Really in a good location. Everythingn in Haeundae was accessible by foot. Rooms were clean. The room size was smaller than expected tho, fit 2 people just about.

Room was not as picture but not bad.
As for the service, we asked to pay for the breakfast at the front desk during check in and so we thought it was paid for but when we got to the restaurant the next morning, they asked us for the coupon which we never got. Turns out we didn't pay for it. So there was a bit of confusion.
Location is good, close to the beach.

Firstly, There are very limited perks (almost none) as a Marriott platinum member as some other reviewers has pointed out. But we did manage to get a late check out, so some credit for that.
There's no free breakfast either, but they had a promotion where 1 person gets free breakfast and the offer was that the other person pays half the price. We didn't take the offer. It's probably to bait some people to pay for breakfast, but breakfast was really not good. Options were limited and not good, even the cornflakes put out were not fresh/crunchy. They should do something to improve the breakfast option it not no one's gonna pay for it.
Location wise, taxi drivers have problems locating where it is. Took a cab from the ktx station and the cab driver struggled to locate the hotel in the GPS. There's also no proper drop off lobby. So cars stop by the main road. it's about a 15-20min walk to haeundae station. But there is a bus stop very close to the hotel. If you are coming from haeundae station you can take some buses from exit 7 (in front of Felix by stx hotel) and it's 2 bustops to the hotel. Going the other direction is a bit more complicated and the bus stop is across the road in another street (in front of a hot spring centre). There's a convenience store next to the hotel which is great, it's also abt a 5min walk to the hauendae traditional market and abt a 3-4min walk to the beach.
The building is not very tall, there are 3 lifts but sometimes the lifts can take a long time. The whole hotel is very compact, so rooms are very compact as well. It's also recently renovated and modern. The interior designer did a great job in trying to fit everything in. Eg there is 1 door which can swing both ways to shut either the toilet or the shower room.
The sink is right next to the bed. They have a huge movable mirror which I actually feel they should remove because we have 2 luggages and each time my spouse wants to open the luggage, I have to wait for my turn.
For singaporeans/Malaysians just imagine this is a nicer and renovated version of first world hotel in genting.
There's no toothbrush/toothpaste, lotion provided. There's no hair conditioner.. as they provide a 2in1 conditioning shampoo.
There's a gym and payable self service laundry at the basement. There's only 1 washer and 1 dryer. I can't recall the exact price but it was abt 8 or 9k won to wash and dry.
The room I was in had mosquitoes and unfortunately I had several bites on my arms and legs (they are not bed bugs) I saw the mosquitoes buzzing around.
For the service I gave 4 stars only because of the housekeeping ajumma. We had a late check out and despite our language barrier she was very friendly and nice. She wanted to clean the room but I told her that we had a late checkout, she then asked if we needed anything like new towels or maybe some water. Really lovely of her!
