This observation deck stands as the highest in Busan and the second-highest in Korea, just after the Lotte Tower in Seoul. The rapid elevator ride takes only a minute to whisk visitors up to the impressive 101st floor. What makes this ascent even more captivating is the animation that engulfs the entire lift during the one-minute journey, offering a truly fantastic experience.
From the observation deck, you're treated to breathtaking views encompassing the entirety of Haeundae Beach and the expansive Busan area beyond. For the daring, there's a section with a glass floor, providing a thrilling perspective, though an alternative route is available for those afraid of heights.
Venturing down to another floor reveals a host of amenities, including restaurants, an outdoor space perfect for photos, souvenir shops, a Starbucks, and interactive activities on the 99th floor. The variety of offerings makes it a lively and entertaining experience compared to other observation decks. What's even better is that access is included in the Busan pass, adding value to this exhilarating visit. As you depart in the high-speed lift, a concluding one-minute animation takes you on a virtual descent into the sea, adding a final touch to the overall immersive journey.

It’s a bit pricey but it’s nice to go up to see the view on a clear day. You can see the entire Haeundae Beach from there. I don’t recommend going in the afternoon because the sun is very bright so it’s hard to take photos. Many reflections on the glass panes.
The elevator up is the highlight. You go up 100 floors in less than a minute and they have screens around you making it look like you are going up on an air balloon.

This was a neat experience! If you are afraid of heights, don't look down! There were cute activities you can do and some you had to pay for.
I went here during Oct. 2022.

I visited Busan X the Sky on my Visit Busan pass whilst exploring the Haeundae Beach area of Busan. It’s very easily found as it’s one of the largest buildings in the area – with the entrance on the beach front.
Getting a ticket with the Visit Busan pass was easy, and once the tickets were issued, we made our way up to the 100th floor to witness the view.
The view is fantastic as it stretches out miles in front of you, with mountains, sea and sky scrapers making up the diverse patchwork of Busan. The Busan X the Sky is spread across 3 floors, and as well as a restaurant, it offers a Starbucks and a gift shop.
On the day we visited the weather was very hazy so it did impact the view somewhat, but it was still very impressive.
My only disappointment was that the glass around some of the areas was quite dirty, which did make things difficult to see. It was also incredibly hot during my visit in December, which did make it a bit uncomfortable to stay for too long.
In conclusion, Busan X the Sky is a good place to get epic views of Haeundae Beach and the surrounding areas. There were a few reasons why I didn’t give it 5 stars but, but overall it was an enjoyable visit.

Very little to do here, but I'm biased since I have acrophobia, so for others maybe this is a more interesting trip. There's a Starbucks at the top. Also probably the most impressive view from a toilet I've ever seen.
