Day 1 of a 2 day stay, 3.5 🌟, was not ideal, but once I was finally checked in, it was what I simply needed. Clean and quiet accommodations. The location is difficult because of where the taxis leave you, but once you're outside and walk around to get your bearings, it's ok. (If you come off-peak and it's cold, bundle up because you may find yourself really cold)
Tomorrow, hopefully, will be much better.
AND it was. Exceptionally better. Day 2, 5 🌟 .So much so that I chose to stay a few extra days.
Fact: Close and convenient access to public transportation (which rocks in its efficiency)
Fact: Close to Parnas Mall, the Gangnam Style statue, COEX Artrium - they're performing RENT, and my favorite the Starfield Library) This was all in one afternoon, you'll need 2 to see everything and that's just one mile down in one direction. It appears you can get just about anywhere from here. Clean bathrooms, clean kitchen, for a reasonable fee you can get your laundry done, public and private wifi options, and solid mattresses with soft comfortable and clean bedding.
You appreciate that immensely and immediately, especially if you don't speak Korean.
I'll come back and stay here again (after seriously immersive lessons in Korean)5

The owners really nice and accommodating. Friendly people. They have a few single rooms if you prefered privacy instead of sharing. Location wise, its surrounded by bars, restaurants and nearby bus station.5

Absolutely enjoyed my stay here! The staff was extremely kind and it really felt like coming home 🥳 The location was really easy to find and close to the metro station. The room was clean and smelled extremely nice. Everything was perfect, thank you again YaKorea Hostel Gangnam ❤️5

I only spent a night at this hostel but I really liked how clean it was because I prioritize cleanliness. The only thing I'll have to say is that you need to bring a lock for the locker provided. Thankfully I didn't need one, but this was new to me. Every place I've ever stayed at have had locks provided.3

An average hostel with a great location, bathrooms were clean and they provide towels and hairdryers. However, the beds were noisy, there was a lingering “curry” smell in the female room and mosquitos were a constant annoyance. Not recommended for socializing. Suitable for a short stay if you can overlook these drawbacks.
