I spent one night at Hotel Dono in late February during a whirlwind tour of Suwon. It was a great location from which to walk a lap along the fortress walls surrounding the city, and the 24-hour self-serve convenience store meant I still had an enjoyable dinner (for an Australian) when I returned late at night from my walk.

They once upgraded my room free of charge even though the room style reservation error was my fault. I always book this hotel when staying in the historic district anyway, but that unnecessary service makes me love it more.

No closet. No shower curtain, water splaters out of tub onto floor. I did not see any car parking. Walking distance to temporary palace, palace wall, restaurants.
