Thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. The staff were accommodating with our requests and helpful. The room is spacious with nice and clean amenities, and the beds were big too. Location is really good as it is near myeongdong and various tourist spots and convenient as it is located right next to the train station.

The rooms don't have proper temperature control. They control constant heating or cooling through a central mechanism. We were here in autumn where it wasn't very cold. If you keep the air conditioner switched on, it starts blowing hot air after dinner time. It became unbearable after 2 am so much so that I had to open the windows and doors to be able to sleep at all. I find this system very obsolete and impractical and not at all customer friendly. The front desk staff is not very cooperative contrary to the Korean people in general who are extremely sweet and helpful everywhere we went. Otherwise though, the rooms are comfortable in general and basic amenities are provided though emergency supplies like even a hot water bag for fomentaion of an injured area is not available.

The location is great (near public transport and lots of attractions) and the staff was nice, BUT not a “4 Star Hotel”. The temperature in the room was closely control by the hotel. I called the front desk and at first they thought I was saying I was too cold and they told me to “use a blanket”, I explained that I actually wanted it to be cooler, they said “sorry”. They did confirm the AC wasn’t broke, just that the temperature is actually centrally control by there building engineer. Also, the hotel had a limited hot water supply. I call and let the front desk know, they confirm that sometimes the building can’t produce enough hot water. My wife had to take one cold shower and I took two cool showers over our 3 night stay. No wash cloths in the bathroom either. The bed was also firm, some people do like I firm bed, but I don’t. The room was generally clean, but I did find a cobble web in the bathroom.
