It was a wonderful experience staying in Lotte hotel Main Tower during my Korea vacation in July.
Staffs were very kind, and services were accurate and fast. The quality of f&b in club lounge were also fantastic and the price was reasonable.
Facilities were clean such as swimming pool, and the transportation within Seoul was also good. I recommend Lotte Hotel for guests to stay in.

There are two towers, the main and executive and I had a chance to stay at both. The hotel location is amazing. It’s right at the heart of Seoul by the shopping district and the downtown.
The rooms are amazing and clean. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. And the staffs are friendly.
We enjoyed the buffet and the afternoon tea very much. Overall, it was a great experience and we will back during our next visit.

The hotel was very nice and excellent location. Subway station very close and convenient, Lotte department store connected as well as walking distance to many palaces, markets etc. we arrived at 6 am although we originally had been told we can pay for a room whilst we wait for our room to become available at 3pm, when we arrived we were told no room available. The receptionist was fairly adamant and even though it was dark and cold, she said come back. After I pushed as to whether there was anything we could take whilst we waited, since cleaning staff also don’t come until 9am, a very helpful staff emerged- maybe manager and she found a solution and a room magically appeared. At first she said we’d have to change at 3 pm but than managed to have us stay in the same room for our visit. It was an upgrade- not sure how our original room would have held 3 people as the upgrade wasn’t too big. Anyway, we were grateful that someone made it work. All in all I’d say the hotel is most concerned about money and bill paying. We had to call a day before if we wanted breakfast at the special rate and when we decided 2 instead of 3 people on the day of the actual breakfast as one person didn’t fell like eating, we were still charged. We managed to get them to take it off but they continued to tell me 3 people showed up when only two did. The buffet is indeed amazing but very expensive. When we checked our, no one asked how our stay was nor thanked us for staying. It was all about the bill. There is a level of rigidity at reception that should be reduced. The room service, buffet staff and concierge were very nice and helpful.

We stayed in both the Lotte Main Tower and Executive Tower for our honeymoon. There was a very large difference between them so make sure you know which one you want before booking!
Our room in the Main Tower was a major disappointment. As many other reviewers have mentioned, the hotel rooms here are old, small, and can be extremely noisy due to the thin walls. The smell was not pleasant and I would recommend staying at a lower star, newer hotel than staying here. The staff was friendly, but nothing extraordinary. The stay was not very enjoyable.
The Executive Tower rooms are very nice, modern, and comfortable. It was more on par with some other nicer hotels we stayed at during our honeymoon. We enjoyed the nights we stayed here.
The location is superb and convenient. The lobby is very large and ornate. Wish there was seating in the lobby, as we got there before we could check in and had nowhere to sit down and catch our breath.
Overall recommendation is to only book the Executive Tower if you’re looking for a 4 or 5 star hotel experience. Booking the Main Tower rooms could leave you disappointed.

Got 2 rooms in the main tower. They are very small. Even for 2 people to share one room as there’s not enough space to open luggages. Both rooms smelled like smoke (I don’t smoke). The linens appeared clean. The wallpaper on the door was peeling off & decor seems dated. Windows are thin so you can hear all the bustle on the street (so it’s hard to nap for those who are jet lagged). There’s no seating area or business center downstairs/lobby area. The staff is a hit or miss. tho their location is superb & have - nice pool, outdoor grass area, breakfast buffet (kinda pricey but good). I don’t plan to return.
