A pretty decent price and the subway station is a 5 minute walk away!
However, the rooms had some superficial damage around the doors and trim, and spring top mattresses (very firm, I woke up with sore hips). The lights and A/C (most important when it’s hot) turn off when you leave with the room key, so the rooms aren’t cool when you get back.
The in-hotel cafe is only open from 11am-2pm, so don’t count on getting breakfast (or dinner) here. However, Starbucks is a 2-minute walk away.
We also couldn’t get any taxis to pick us up from the hotel in the evenings (we were told
by locals that taxis sometimes avoid hotels if they think you/foreigners might have too much luggage - not sure if this was why we had a hard time getting a taxi from the hotel, but if we went around the corner from the hotel we could get taxis).
The most disappointing thing was that we booked this hotel because it says on their online listing and on Google that they have a hot tub and pool, but they don’t (we were expecting to be able to soak away sore feet from walking all day, and were unpleasantly surprised).
All in all, this hotel gets the job done at the bare minimum and is near Myeongdong if you want to do things there, and makes sense for the low price of ~$60 USD per night. If you’re looking for any luxury, though, don’t go here.

The Wi-Fi in the hotel is not very good, and the showers are not adjustable so either shoot you in the groin or the face! It was a nice enough hotel we didn’t really enjoy it! Simple changes could make this far better.

Booked a room, price is good, location superb.
Only thing is we were just perspiring non stop in the hotel. Aircon is not on for the whole hotel, we were told to open the window but it’s so stuffy in the room, in the end all of us had to be naked sleeping including my child.
Was also told that they don’t have even fans.

Stayed there back in early Apr 23. Found out that the room aircon wasn't working. Called the frontdesk and was told their aircon system was down and was advised to open the windows instead. They did not even inform us on this during our checkin. The temperature for our first 2 days in Seoul was around 25 deg C and to matter worse, the room was west facing with setting sun making it unbearable hot. They did offer us with a fan but it didn't really help much.
Very disappointed!
