My teen daughter & I enjoyed our 4-nights stay in this hotel. Room quiet, clean & comfortable. Amenities were provided & topped up daily. The towels fresh & new, which I'm very particular about whenever staying at hotels. Staff friendly & helpful. The hotel is situated next to Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) & next to AMP Place a wholesale clothing centre , walk few minutes down the road is the night market. 24hr convenient stores just next to the hotel. Best of all, there are 3 subway lines connected to this hotel station Dongdaemun History & Culture Park station & Exit 4 elevator is right at the hotel front. There's an airport limo bus stop at its entrance as well. Highly recommended! Will sure stay there again!5

Came to Seoul for the first time with family. We had a great stay at Sotetsu Dongdaemun. We stayed 8 nights. Booked family room on high floor. Can see Namsan Tower from room. Nice night view. All the front desk staff are friendly and helpful. We can only remember these staff names, Jenna Lim and Ellie Bang. Need to make a big shoutout to the housekeeping staff who cleaned the rooms and changed towels everyday. Situated right above Dongdaemun History and Culture Park metro, with elevator at exit 4. Overall we love the hotel and hope to come back again.5

We have the opportunity to stay at the hotel for a long time and we love it. It has an excellent location, close to subway exits, shopping centers, mall centers, restaurants, convenience store, limousine airport stop and more. We were very well attended by the members of the hotel: reception, restaurant and cleaning. The breakfast was very tasty and abundand. The beds are very comfortable and the room is generally spacious. Good elevator safety.
We had to leave the leave the hotel while we went to visit other cities and the hotek kept our luggage for us. They have a weight/balance for the suitcases.
We RECOMENDATIONS: more English TV channels, restaurant for lunch or dinner. We didn't know that the hotel doesn't turn on the air conditioners in the winter season, so it did get a bit annoying at night when it was a bit hot and we had to open the small window.
But we love our long stay at this hotel many good things.5

From the train, take the lift from exit 4 and you will arrive outside the hotel. Airport bus directly at doorstep as well.

We stayed one night and we were given a room on lower floor. Initially, we couldn’t understand why there was no air conditioner in the room despite us attempting to switch it on. We called the front desk only to find out that the hotel does not switch on air conditioner until summer.
Mind you.. this is mid of March and the weather is getting warmer. To make it worse, the hotel asked us to open the window to let the air in. We do not mind that at all if it is a part of energy conservation but we stayed next to the road and with the constant noises from traffic and honking, it wasn’t pleasant.
With the amount we paid for one night, we would have assumed that we can get some quiet and air-conditioned room. Guess we assumed wrongly. Oh well.. we wouldn’t advise to stay in this hotel before and after summer because of their whatever hotel policy regarding air conditioner.
We had such pleasant stay in Sotetsu in Japan but the one in Dongdaemun.. well, there’s a lot to improve.
