When we visited the museum was closed but we were still able to buy tickets for a reduced fee and walk around the autumn landscape of the shrine and the buildings around the museum. Many people wore hanboks and came here to take pictures ans we did the same. I think it would have been interesting to see the shrine and the museum but I am still happy with our visit.

This is my second time to visit Gyeonggijeon. They provide Eng guide that make more enjoyment to roam around the shrine.

A good place to learn about Ancient Joseon dynasty. Houses one of the portraits from the first King of Joseon dynasty and some section for the royal records.

Great UNESCO site.
had a tour from a volunteer tour guide, it's free!!
Very informative and interesting place. The builders had interesting architecture, with the tour giving you a better understanding of what and why with an explanation of the mysticism behind it.
Free English tours are held at 11am, 1pm, 3pm and 4pm. Make sure to visit the tourist information.
