SYNOPSIS
About the Show
Evan Hansen, a boy living with an anxiety disorder, writes letters to himself every day, dreaming of one great day where he can live as his true self.
One day, Connor, whom Evan meets by chance, takes one of Evan’s letters. A few days later, Evan learns of Connor’s sudden death. Connor’s parents mistake the letter for their son’s suicide note and ask Evan to share memories of the two of them together.
Evan, who was not actually friends with Connor, can’t bring himself to tell the truth to the grieving family. How long will Evan be able to keep the secret?
