A youth traditional arts incubating performance celebrating its 10th anniversary
This is the 10th season of National Jeongdong Theater’s signature youth traditional performing arts creation incubating project, which began in 2017.
Eight teams, eight distinct premiere creations
From August 11 to 21, you can watch competition performances across a range of genres including instrumental music, dance, and yeonhui.
A great location to pair with a Jeong-dong stroll
Held at National Jeongdong Theater Cecil near City Hall Station and Gwanghwamun Station, it’s perfect to visit together with the stone wall path at Deoksugung Palace and Jeongdong-gil Road.

About 2026 Blossom of Young Artists (靑春滿發)
First introduced in 2017, National Jeongdong Theater’s youth traditional performing arts incubating project <Blossom of Young Artists> discovers rising young traditional performing artists with both talent and skill, then showcases them through incubation support and competition performances.
It supports young traditional performing artists with what they truly need, including performance opportunities, mentoring, and PR and marketing, working together to create the competition stage.
So that Korea’s young traditional performing artists can keep their momentum and continue their own creative work in tradition, National Jeongdong Theater is here to take that first step with them.

Performance Schedule at a Glance
The 10th anniversary commemorative performance and the competition performances by 8 teams will be held at National Jeongdong Theater Cecil on weekday evenings at 7:30 PM, from 2026.08.10 to 08.21.
※ There are no performances on Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, or on Monday, August 17.
