⛰️Gyeongju National Park
Gyeongju National Park is the only national park in Korea built around historic sites, where a thousand years of Silla history meets untouched nature. Named a national park in 1968, the second after Jirisan, it spans eight districts, including Tohamsan, home to Bulguksa and Seokguram, and Namsan, known simply as the open-air museum.
Tohamsan holds Bulguksa and Seokguram, both UNESCO World Heritage sites where Silla Buddhist art still feels alive. Namsan scatters royal tombs, temple sites, and stone Buddhas across its trails, turning a light walk into a walk through history.
Beyond the scenery, Gyeongju National Park holds National Treasures, Treasures, and Historic Sites among its forests and wildlife. Visit once and the spirit of Silla stays with you.
🚩Recommended Trekking Route | Samneung Course
- Samneung → Badukbawi Rock → Geumobong Peak
- One way 2.1 km | About 1 hour 30 minutes
This signature trail through Namsan pairs pine-forest royal tombs with Silla-era Buddhist statues and sweeping views.
The Samneung to Badukbawi Rock stretch climbs in stairs, while Badukbawi Rock to Geumobong Peak eases along the ridge line. Gentle slopes and simple steps make this a course anyone can finish without pushing too hard.
