Seonmudo is a traditional practice and wellness method from Korean temple culture, combining meditation, yoga, qigong, and martial arts. In the middle of Seoul, you can pause from a busy trip and experience Korea’s traditional training culture firsthand.
Guided by Beopsa Borim with long training experience
At Seonmudo Seoul Main Center, you can learn directly from Beopsa Borim, who began Seonmudo training in 1994, served as an instructor at the Seoul Main Center and Golgulsa Temple, and has taught at the Seoul Main Center since 2015.
A 90-minute one-day class to awaken body and mind
The 90-minute one-day class includes breathing meditation, Seon stretching and Seon yoga, Janggong, Seon qigong, and mudra meditation. Gently loosen your body and experience body and mind becoming one through basic movements and moving meditation.
Tea time to enjoy the afterglow of practice
After the one-day class, tea time lets you talk over tea and slowly enjoy the lingering calm of the practice.
English support for international participants
English communication is available, so international guests can join more comfortably.

Seonmudo One-Day Class | 90 min
- An experience program suitable even for first-time Seonmudo participants.
- Includes breathing meditation, Seon stretching and Seon yoga, Janggong, Seon qigong, and mudra meditation, followed by tea time after the practice.
- Training clothes are prepared for one-day class participants. Please enter your height when booking so the right size can be prepared.

Take a short rest for your body and mind through breathing meditation.
Loosen a stiff body and mind through Seon stretching and Seon yoga warm-up movements.
Energize body and mind with basic movements such as palm thrusts, front kicks, and side kicks.
Feel the unity of body and mind through Seon qigong, a form of moving meditation.
Follow calmly moving hands, feel the energy of life, and enter a deep quiet of body and mind.

- The Seonmudo practice experience lets you join regular members during their practice time.
- Recommended for those who want to experience the real training atmosphere before starting Seonmudo.
- Please prepare comfortable clothes suitable for practice.
