Details
Panoramic X-ray, Full Diagnosis, Scaling, Whitening
Details | Scaling removes plaque and tartar buildup from the surface of the teeth. |
Duration | 60~90 minutes |
Effects | Recommended every 6 to 12 months. |
Recommended For | Those with gum inflammation caused by tartar Those who want to remove bad breath and tooth discoloration |
Precautions | As tartar is removed, tooth roots may be temporarily exposed, causing sensitivity, which should subside within a few days. |
Teeth whitening
Details | This treatment brightens discolored teeth using a whitening agent that contains hydrogen peroxide. A high-concentration formula (about 15%) and a special light are used to help deliver faster results. |
Duration | 60 minutes |
Effects | Recommended to repeat every 6 months |
Recommended For | Those concerned about extrinsic staining from coffee, wine, smoking, or age-related tooth discoloration |
Precautions | Teeth may become temporarily sensitive after whitening, causing a sensation of sensitivity to cold or pressure. |
Laminates
Procedure Details | A cosmetic dental treatment that improves the color, shape, and appearance of the front teeth. Depending on the case, it may involve minimal tooth reduction (0.5–0.7 mm) or a no-prep option using a thin ceramic veneer. |
Duration | 30 minutes–1 hour / 2–3 visits |
Effects | Longevity around 10 years Can be used long-term with regular checkups and scaling to prevent gum disease |
Recommended For | Those concerned with tooth discoloration that teeth whitening cannot fix, gaps between teeth, or chipped teeth |
Precautions by Procedure | Because tooth reduction may be involved, you may experience sensitivity after the procedure, and once a tooth is filed it cannot be restored. There is also a risk of breakage or loss from strong impact. |
Implant
Procedure Details | To replace a missing tooth, a titanium artificial root is implanted into the jawbone and a prosthetic crown is placed on top. |
Duration | If only a consultation: 60 minutes Same-day extraction and placement of 1 implant: actual surgery time about 15–30 minutes Full process: including anesthesia, surgical prep, and post-op instructions, about 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes Additional procedures: if bone grafting or a sinus lift is required, expect an extra 30 minutes to 1 hour |
Effects | Varies depending on maintenance Usually lasts about 5–15 years With good care, many cases last over 20 years |
Recommended For | Those who lost one or two teeth and want to preserve adjacent healthy teeth instead of undergoing a bridge that requires filing down neighboring teeth Those who suffer from denture discomfort, lack of chewing power, or pain from dentures pressing on the gums |
Precautions by Procedure | 1. Immediate post-op care (recovery phase) Keep gauze firmly in place by biting down for 2 hours, and swallow any blood or saliva rather than spitting to help clotting. Avoid using straws for one week, as the suction creates pressure in the mouth and can disrupt clotting. For the first 48 hours after surgery, use cold compresses (10 minutes on, 10 minutes off), then start warm compresses from day 3 to promote circulation. Begin eating only after the anesthesia wears off (about 2–3 hours), and stick to soft, liquid foods for about a week, avoiding hot, spicy, or hard foods. Smoking is a major cause of implant failure, so you must stop smoking for at least 2 weeks to a month. Avoid blowing your nose forcefully, and if you need to sneeze, open your mouth to relieve pressure and protect the graft. 2. After placement of the final prosthetic (maintenance phase) After the prosthetic is attached, avoid eating for 2 hours to allow the adhesive to set. You may accidentally bite your cheek or tongue at first, and the opposing teeth may feel sore, but these issues usually resolve after about a month of adaptation. Unlike natural teeth, implants don’t move slightly, so food can get trapped in gaps. Using interdental brushes, floss, or a Waterpik is essential. If the prosthetic becomes loose or comes off, stay calm, keep the prosthetic, and visit the clinic immediately so it can be reattached. |
Orthodontics
Details | Orthodontic treatment helps straighten the teeth and improve bite alignment, supporting both oral health and facial balance. |
Duration | If only for diagnosis: 60 minutes Typical time for the entire orthodontic treatment: usually 1 year 6 months to 3 years |
Effects | Teeth have a tendency to shift back to their original positions after treatment ends, wearing a retainer is required |
Recommended For | Those with irregular teeth alignment |
Precautions | During orthodontic treatment, demineralization (decay) of tooth surfaces, gum inflammation, and root resorption may occur, so thorough brushing and regular checkups are essential. |
Genetic Oral Bacterial Test
Details | This genetic oral bacteria test analyzes bacteria linked to oral disease and helps identify possible risk factors early, allowing for more personalized care. Results are sent by email about two weeks after the test. |
Duration | 60 minutes |
Effects | Annual checkup, once a year |
Recommended For | People who want to check their oral health and practice preventive care on their own |
Precautions | If you rinse with oral cleansers or gargle with products like Hexamed within 3 hours before the test, or if you have taken antibiotics within 2 weeks, the test cannot be performed |
PDRN Periodontal Regeneration Injection
Procedure Details | IThis treatment uses PDRN to support gum tissue regeneration, help reduce inflammation, and promote healing. It may also help improve damaged periodontal tissue or alveolar bone. |
Duration | 30 minutes |
Effects | 6 months–1 year |
Recommended For | Those with periodontitis who often experience swelling, bleeding, or loose teeth, and those concerned about gum recession |
Precautions by Procedure | Be careful with hard or tough foods after the procedure. You must refrain from smoking. |
