Had such a lovely time making norigae at Leesle in Insadong! Staff were very friendly, kind and helpful. Explained and demonstrated the process well. Will come back and make another one next time!!

The shop is located on a street in Insadong, so it was easy to find. The process of making norigae involves choosing the parts, fastening them with pins, and then completing the piece. There were so many parts that it was difficult to choose, which took quite a while. I also couldn't properly fasten the pins with pliers, so the shop staff helped me out with most of it and I was able to complete it. The shop staff only spoke English or Korean, but they were very kind and even took photos of the finished product, making it a great souvenir.

They don't speak Japanese.
However, they explained things to me slowly and clearly in Korean, and the parts were not expensive, so I was able to choose as many as I liked. It came to about 2,000 yen per person.
I was able to make whatever colors and shapes I wanted, and they were very satisfying and cute, making them a memorable souvenir.
If I have the chance, I'd like to go back and make some as souvenirs for my friends.
