Become the world’s slowest triathlete, the Shium-Shium triathlon, and enjoy at your own pace!
- <Shium-Shium Han River Triathlon Festival> is, as the name suggests, a sports festival where participants complete swimming, cycling, and running without rankings, records, or competition.
- It’s more of a celebration than a competitive event, so no times or placements are recorded.
- Finish the triathlon at your own pace and style, take breaks as you like, join locals, and complete your special Commemorative medal.

- You can start at any time that fits your condition on the date and time you registered.
- However, to keep things running smoothly, you will choose a time block when booking, morning (09:00~12:00) or afternoon (12:00~18:00), and you should attend and participate within that time block.
- Once you check in, you don’t have to complete all three events (swimming, cycling, running) at once. During the festival period you can finish them separately at your own pace and still receive a Commemorative medal. Please follow the instructions for the start time of the swim.
- The Advanced course follows the same basic operating method, but because it includes a 1km swim across the Han River, the swim start and finish times are fixed.
- You can choose the order of the events freely. (For safety reasons, the Advanced course is recommended to start with the swim.)
