I had always wanted to try on the costumes I see in Korean historical dramas, rather than the typical hanbok, so I was very happy to be able to wear the costumes I saw in dramas. They also styled my hair, and the staff were very kind. I went to Changdeokgung Palace, and people said to me several times, "That's cute!" when they saw my costume. I would definitely use this service again when I go to Korea.

If you're planning a nighttime visit to Changgyeonggung Palace, you can enter for free if you're wearing Hanbok. Most Hanbok rental shops close at 6 PM, but Yeinbang is open until 9 PM. We planned to try on Geisha costumes but rented the wrong option. We paid the difference on the spot, and the auntie was very kind and gave us a great price. She also spent a lot of time dressing us up beautifully, gave us many props, and taught us how to pose for photos. The final result was really great. I recommend it to anyone who wants to try on Geisha costumes.

I had previously rented a traditional Korean dress from another costume rental shop, but as their advertising stated, "They've provided hanbok for period dramas," the quality and level of reproduction were much higher than theirs.

I chose the four-hour rental plan, but it was so much fun that the time flew by and I found myself wishing I could wear it longer...I wish there was a six-hour plan.

However, both the assistant and the shop owner were very friendly and made an effort to understand my poor Korean and English.

It was by far the most enjoyable time of my four days in Korea.
