2024 Culture and Heritage Program: Royalty Route | Exclusive Tickets for Foreigners

• Eligibility: Foreigners (including foreign citizens and permanent residents / accompanying Koreans may also participate)
• Reservation Method: Pre-booking via Creatrip (maximum 2 tickets per ID)
• Reservation Confirmation: Admission is allowed after verifying the Creatrip reservation and participant’s ID on-site (physical passport or alien registration card required)
• Booking Period: Available until 23:59 (KST) two days before the event
• Age Restriction: It is open to participants aged 12 and older.
• Number of Participants: 25 people per session (up to 2 tickets per ID)

• Performances: 08:00~09:40 (once a day, approximately 100 minutes)
  • On site, you can participate in the program in your desired language through real-time AI translation using smart devices.

How to Reserve

1. Please fill in all the required information accurately on the reservation page. 

2. Once payment is completed, the reservation is confirmed immediately.

3. Please present your Creatrip reservation details and identification (passport) for the reservation holder and companions at the on-site registration location (Donhwamun Gate of Changdeokgung Palace).

*This event is open for registration 40 minutes before each session starts (from 7:20 AM).

  • Since there is no parking available, we recommend using public transportation.
• Subway:

During Reservation

• This event requires 100% advance reservation, and no on-site sales will be conducted.
• Participation in this event is only possible with reservations made through the reservation site. Reservations cannot be made through any other sites.
• Ticket reservations are limited to 2 tickets per ID. If you purchase more than 2 tickets, the entire reservation may be canceled. Also, the tickets you reserved cannot be transferred between acquaintances.
• This event is an invitation event for foreigners, and only those with foreign citizenship or permanent residency can purchase tickets. Nationals (those without foreign citizenship or permanent residency) cannot participate in the event (accompanied entry is also not allowed) and may have their tickets canceled after participant information is verified. Cancellation notices will be sent to the email address provided at the time of reservation.
• Participants (including the reserver and companions) must present proof (physical passport and foreigner registration card) and reservation number at the on-site reception. Entry to the event is possible after verification by on-site staff. The decision on entry eligibility is not determined by [Creatrip], and [Creatrip] is not responsible if entry is denied.
• If it is difficult to verify the identification (physical passport or foreigner registration card) matching the reserver's name, entry may be restricted.
• This event can only be attended on the schedule selected during the reservation. You cannot participate on a different schedule.
• This event is only open to those aged 12 and above, and we kindly ask for your understanding that children under the age of 12 cannot participate due to event proceedings and safety reasons.
• This event includes the admission fee to Changdeokgung Palace.
• Please enter the information of the reserver and companions at the time of reservation. If the information of the reserver or companions is different on-site or if the reservation is made fraudulently, it will be invalid and non-refundable upon detection. (Companions must also be foreign citizens or permanent residents.)
• We are not responsible for any inconveniences caused by incorrect personal information. Please make sure to check your contact information when making a reservation.
• If you are found to have purchased tickets using dishonest methods (such as using macro) or for the purpose of ticket scalping, the reservation may be canceled and/or usage may be restricted without prior notice.
• Illegal transactions (such as selling premium tickets or ticket transfer scams) harm honest ticket purchasers. In case of any issues arising from the illegal transactions, the event organizers, sponsors, and reservation sites will not be held responsible. Please make sure to purchase tickets through official ticketing channels.

During Your Visit

• Please be punctual, as participation will be difficult after the event starts at 8 AM.
• This program is a morning palace exploration program operated before the official opening hours of 'Changdeokgung', allowing you to enjoy the autumn morning at Changdeokgung.
• Please present your Creatrip reservation details and identification (passport, alien registration card, etc.) for verification of the reserver and companions at the on-site reception.
• We ask for your understanding that there may be entry restrictions if the entry time has passed.
• This program is a mission tour with a story and not a guided tour.
• This program combines AR content and live performances without a separate foreign language guide.
• The commentary and guidance of this program support multiple languages, including Korean, by utilizing the “real-time AI translation” feature embedded in the smart device (Samsung Galaxy S24). 
• The smart device is a rental item and will be collected after the program ends.
• Taking photos during the event is allowed, but the use of tripods and flash is prohibited, and food and drinks are also not allowed inside the palace.
• This program is a morning palace tour event operated before the official opening of Changdeokgung Palace. Please wear comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for walking (Please refrain from wearing slipper-type shoes as they may pose a safety risk.)
• The responsibility for any accidents caused by personal negligence lies with the participant.

Weather Conditions

• According to the Korea Meteorological Administration forecast standards, if more than 5mm of rain is forecasted by 06:00 on the day of the event, the event will be canceled.
• If the event is canceled due to rain, the participation fee will be fully refunded. We ask for your understanding that rescheduling the event after cancellation is difficult.
• If the event is canceled, we will notify you via text message. Please follow the instructions as a fee will be incurred if participants cancel their tickets individually.
