7. Presbyopia Correction

Overall Procedure Summary

1. Make a reservation for an eye examination and consultation 260000.
2. Visit the clinic on the reserved date for detailed tests to confirm surgery eligibility.
3. If eligible, receive surgical method guidance, post-care instructions, and proceed with payment.
4. Change into surgical attire, complete disinfection, and undergo the procedure.
5. Rest briefly after surgery, receive a follow-up check, then pick up your medication before going home.

Post Operative Follow-up Schedule

1. LASEK / PRK

• Removal of Protective Contact Lenses: Lenses are removed 4–5 days after surgery.

• Regular Check-ups:

  • First follow-up: 1 week after surgery.

  • Monthly follow-up: Once a month thereafter (minimum 3–4 visits required depending on recovery).

• Precautions: Sunglasses must be worn outdoors for 6 months post-surgery to block UV rays.

2. LASIK / SMILE / SMILE PRO / ZEISS PRESBYOND

• Initial Follow-up: Visit the clinic the next day or within 2 weeks.

• Subsequent check-ups will be scheduled based on the condition of your eyes.

3. ICL (Implantable Collamer Lens)

• Check-up Schedule: Next day → 1 week → 1 month → 3 months → Annual check-up thereafter.

General Information

• Consultation Time: Follow-up visits take approximately 30–40 minutes.

• For Short-term Visitors: It is highly recommended to complete the first follow-up visit at our clinic. Continuous monitoring is required after returning to your home country.

• English Medical Report: The clinic provides an English medical opinion/report during your follow-up visit.

Important Notice 

• Mandatory Follow-up: Patient should visit the clinic at least once after surgery to confirm your recovery status.

• Departure Restrictions: For your safety, surgery cannot be scheduled if your departure is planned immediately after surgery without a confirmed follow-up visit.

• Clinic Holidays: Bright Eye Clinic is closed every Wednesday and Sunday. Therefore, the follow-up schedule will be adjusted as follows:

  • Surgery on Tuesday → Follow-up on Thursday (due to Wednesday holiday).

  • Surgery on Saturday → Follow-up on Monday (due to Sunday holiday).

  • (Note: This adjustment schedule may vary for LASEK patients depending on the lens removal date.)

Cashback Guide

1. A reservation deposit of 260,000 KRW is required to book an appointment at Creatrip Eye Clinic.
2. The final payment made after the surgery will be the remaining balance (Total Surgery Cost minus the 260,000 KRW deposit).
3. After the surgery, the cashback amount will be refunded to your original payment method based on your reservation type:

   • Standard Reservation: 100,000 KRW cashback. (No conditions apply)

   • Promotional Reservation: 250,000 KRW cashback. (Valid only upon submitting an SNS review within 30 days)

4. If two people make a reservation together, you will receive an additional 100,000 KRW discount at checkout.
