Park Ji-hee, an announcer of a TBS current affairs education program, The Room, run and funded by the Seoul Metropolitan Government, said about the late Seoul Mayor's sexual harassment victim, "What has she been doing in the last 4 years? I'm curious as to why she suddenly decided to step up and publicize it now."
While on the topic of the late Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon's former secretary who sued him for sexual harassment, Park Ji-hee said on her online podcast, "The victim herself said that she did not report him initially because he was at the position of the Mayor." and, "I would like to ask why she didn't report him just then."
Park Ji-hee continued by saying, "I am really curious as to what she has been doing for the past 4 years and why all of a sudden decided to come out to the world about this with her lawyer, Kim Jae-ryeon."
Criticism flowed in online regarding Park's comments saying, 'It's a second abuse,' 'It's a human rights abuse,' 'Not surprising coming from an announcer of a Seoul city broadcasting channel.'

According to the Broadcasting Act, TBS is required to run the transportation sector at 60% or more. However, there has been a controversy that TBS runs too many current affairs programs that do not fit the purpose of the establishment.
