Koreans are generally food-orientated people. It is hard to find another group that is so passionate about delicious foods.
But given the current climate, it is risky to eat out and ordering delivery will wreak havoc on your wallet.
Luckily, there are new and innovative recipes being shared on Korean social media every day!
Of those recipes, we will share eight of the hottest recipes in this blog.
Cream Jjamppong
크림짬뽕
Ingredients:
Jin Jjambbong Ramen (진짬뽕)
Milk
Add-ons:
Garlic
Onions
Cream Cheese/Fresh Cream

You can re-create Korean franchise Nipong Naepong's Keu Ppong-Cream recipe at home! All you need is a packet of Jin Jjambbong Ramen, and milk.
Cream jjamppong may seem a bit odd and difficult to wrap your head around. Instead, would it make more sense to call it cream pasta with a bit of spice?
1. Add butter or cooking oil to a pan and sauté your desired amount of garlic and onions. If you like squid or shrimp and have it at home, you can add them at this time!
2. When the garlic turns a golden brown, add 200ml of milk, 100ml of water, 1/2 of the jjambbong sauce, and the noodles. Bring to a boil.
3. Once the noodles are fully cooked, add about half a spoonful of cream cheese (if you don't have cream cheese you can replace it with fresh cream).
4. As the dish is simmering, add about half the chilli oil that comes in the Jin Jjambbong Ramen.
5. Keep stirring until it is simmered down and thickened to your liking.

The best late-night snack. I personally make this dish once a week with my family.
1. Bring 250ml of water and half a bag of soft tofu to a boil. Since the soft tofu has high water content, you will need less water than what you'd typically use when making ramen.
2. Once the water is boiling, add half the noodles from the Yeul ramen pack.
3. If you wish, you can add chilli, garlic, and/or scallions.
4. Finally add a sprinkle of black pepper to taste!

1. Cube one pack of tofu.
2. Drizzle 2 spoonfuls of olive oil and three spoonfuls of Yondu evenly across the cubed tofu.
