EXO Member Xiumin Tests Positive For COVID-19

K-pop boy group EXO's beloved member Xiumin tested positive for coronavirus.

His agency SM Entertainment today announced, "Xiumin was diagnosed with COVID-19 today. He tested negative in a PCR test before attending his musical practice on July 29th. However, on August 4th, he performed an additional PCR test due to abnormal symptoms and a positive result was confirmed today."

EXO members and staff members in charge are also undergoing COVID-19 tests and are in self-quarantine waiting for their results.

The agency added, "Xiumin will immediately halt all schedules and actively follow the instructions and procedures of the quarantine authorities, and we will do our best for the artist's prompt recovery."
