The SpherEx telescope, co-developed by Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute and NASA, is set to launch on November 28. Unlike the James Webb Telescope which focuses on small, detailed views of the universe, SpherEx will use infrared to create a 3D map of the whole sky, observing 102 colors. This mission aims to study the origins of the universe, galaxy formation, and the potential for extraterrestrial life. Its broad observation scope allows it to map 100% of the universe four times over, promising new discoveries in cosmic understanding.
