MUSINSA, a leading fashion platform in South Korea, has suspended sales of all products from 42 brands after discovering inaccuracies in the labeling of down and cashmere materials. The company is urging the fashion industry to join their efforts in promoting transparency and fair practices. Since January, MUSINSA has conducted tests on 7,968 products, identifying 165 goods with improper or false labeling. They are also conducting recall procedures for affected consumers. MUSINSA has been actively disclosing violations of misleading advertising regulations and aims to set a precedent for industry-wide self-regulation.
