Commemorative Stamp of South Korean Submarine to be Released

The Ministry of Science and ICT's Korea Post will start selling a commemorative stamp of a domestically developed 'South Korean-type Submarine' on the 20th, with 510,000 stamps available. The stamp features the Dosan Ahn Chang-ho class submarine (KSS-III), a 3000-ton vessel designed with contributions from the Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) and the Navy, equipped with domestically-produced equipment and capable of launching submarine-launched ballistic missiles (SLBM). This release emphasizes South Korea's development in national defense and marine technology.
