In 1742, renowned Korean artist Jeong Seon, known as Gyeomjae, created an art album inspired by a historic boat ride on the Imjin River. The album, 'Yeongang Imsuchup,' captures scenes from a journey with significant regional figures. A newly discovered version of this work is featured in a Seoul exhibition titled 'The World of Brush and Ink: Three Masters.' This exhibition includes works by Jeong Seon, Kim Jeong-hui, and Yun Hyong-keun, highlighting their mastery in traditional Korean painting and calligraphy. The exhibition offers a rare opportunity to view these historically significant pieces, with some on loan from private collections. It serves as a precursor to a larger exhibition at the Ho-Am Art Museum.
