Cheongwadae's 'Cheongsachorong' Festival for Lunar New Year

To celebrate the Korean Lunar New Year, the Cheongwadae Foundation is hosting the 'Cheongsachorong' Festival at Cheongwadae (the Korean presidential residence) from January 27 to 30. The event will feature traditional games, night performances, and educational activities, including kite flying, crafts, and folk games. Evening visitors can enjoy traditional performances under the colorful lanterns called 'Cheongsachorong'. A New Year's concert is planned on January 29, showcasing Korean traditional music by the National Gugak High School and a group named 'Jang Sa-ik and Friends'. Guests can also partake in a tea ceremony experience and special family-oriented guided tours. Reservations are required for certain activities.
