The creative opera 'The Last Queen', which depicts the life of Yi Bangja, the last Crown Princess of the Joseon Dynasty, will premiere in Korea this November at the Gwanglim Art Center Jangcheon Hall. This opera was first created by Zunwolson, a Korean-Japanese soprano, and has been performed in Japan since 2015. It features the dramatic life of Yi Bangja, who transitioned from Japanese royalty to a Korean princess through arranged marriage and later became a welfare advocate for the disabled in Korea. The production will be performed in Japanese with Korean subtitles provided.
