Yeosu City in South Korea is recruiting local 'Solo Dining Restaurants' to accommodate the rising number of solo travelers and single households. These restaurants will offer single servings of local delicacies like gejang (marinated crab), galchi-jjim (braised hairtail fish), and seo-daehwae-muchim (raw fish salad). Selected restaurants will be promoted via the city's official website and the 'YeosuN' app. This move comes as a response to previous incidents of unwelcoming behavior towards solo diners in the area. Applications are open through various channels until next month.
