Park Yunjae has become the first Korean male ballerino to win the prestigious Prix de Lausanne, a world-renowned ballet competition held in Switzerland. Coached by his high school teacher Ahn Yunhee, Park impressed judges with performances in classical and contemporary ballet, earning him the Best Young Talent Award and opportunities to train with top ballet schools and companies. Park’s teacher, Ahn, who is retiring soon, expressed pride in his accomplishments and hopes he continues to grow as a dancer.
