A number of Korean restaurants have been caught mislabeling the origin of their meat, particularly during the busy vacation season. From July to mid-August, officials found 329 violations, with some establishments claiming foreign meat as domestic, like Portuguese pork sold as 'Jeju Black Pork' (a premium and sought-after variety in Korea). Authorities are taking legal action and imposing fines to address these violations.
