Walkerhill Hotel & Resort, a leading premium hotel in Korea, has partnered with the Ministry of Environment to introduce an eco-money points service for Green Card holders. This initiative, the first of its kind in the hotel service sector, aims to expand the carbon-neutral and sustainable growth efforts already existing within the green card scheme, which started in 2011. Guests using the Green Card for transactions between September 1 to October 31 at the hotel can earn 25% of their spending in eco-money points. These points can be used as cashback or for various services like mobile payments, gift exchanges, and donations. The move reflects Walkerhill's commitment to reducing carbon emissions and promoting sustainable consumption practices. The hotel has been recognized for its sustainable efforts, including community engagement and staff involvement in environmental activities.
