K-Beauty and Wellness Attracts Wealthy Chinese Visitors

Last weekend, the Korea Tourism Organization hosted the 'K-Health&Beauty Festa 2025, Beijing' to promote Korean beauty and wellness tourism among China's affluent. This event combined medical tourism with beauty treatments, featuring AI-based simulations, skin and scalp diagnoses, and personal color tests. The popularity was evident as over 800 people applied for 200 available spots in beauty experiences. A total of 127 contracts were signed, estimating 14 billion won in revenue. The event highlights growing interest in Korean wellness travels from Chinese consumers.
