The 14th Korea National and Public Theater Training Workshop recently concluded in Goseong, Gangwon Province. This event was organized by the Gangwon Cultural Foundation and the Korea National and Public Theater Association to support the growth of Korean theater. It brought together 100 members and representatives from 17 national and public theater groups around the country to share their planned performances for 2025. During the event, artists participated in cultural tours to explore significant sites like Naksansa Temple and Daejin Lighthouse Observatory. These tours highlighted the historical narratives of Sokcho and Goseong, areas marked by experiences of national division. Seminars on organizing the June National and Public Theater Festival were also part of the program, fostering partnerships among theater professionals in Korea.
