Various tourism events are being held across South Korea to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Korean Liberation. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism encourages visits to significant historical sites related to the independence movement by offering souvenir magnets to visitors who collect stamps at these locations, such as Gwanghwamun Plaza in Seoul and the Independence Hall of Korea in Chungcheong. Additionally, walking tours retrace the paths of anti-Japanese resistance activities. Special exhibitions and online events further highlight the history and significance of Korea's liberation. Programs also include themed tours like the '8·15 Independence Train' that takes passengers to An Dong and other key historical sites, celebrating the country's rich history of resistance and independence.
