Choreographers Hany and Kris Join Forces for 'Sync Next 25' Performance at Sejong Center

Emerging choreographers Hany and Mr. Kris are set to captivate audiences at the 'Sync Next 25' show between October 14-16 at the Sejong Center in Seoul. This collaborative performance, titled '우리(OO-LI)', plays on the dual meanings of 'us' and 'cage', exploring the boundaries between the individual and collective through physical experimentation. 28 dancers, selected via open auditions, will embody the inner worlds of the choreographers, emphasizing presence and acceptance over dance skills. Hany's delicate style complements Kris's explosive energy, akin to the philosophical concept of yin and yang. Both choreographers wish for the audience to feel emotionally embraced by the performance, with Kris expressing his admiration for Korean dance culture inspired by his early fascination with the breaking scene during his Paris trip.
