Art Basel Hong Kong: South Korea is a Key Player

Angel Xiong-Ru, the director of Art Basel Hong Kong, highlighted South Korea's significant role in the fair's success. Art Basel Hong Kong, the largest art fair in Asia, is set to take place from March 28-30 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). Despite challenges from the Korean art fairs Kiaf and Frieze Seoul (jointly called Kiafreeze), Korea continues to contribute to the expansion of the Asian art market. Art Basel Hong Kong remains a critical meeting space for artists and collectors, aiming to connect diverse art communities across Asia.
