Luxury French brand Louis Vuitton has announced the opening of its first permanent restaurant, 'Le Café Louis Vuitton,' on September 1st at the 4th floor of Louis Vuitton Maison Seoul, located in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam District, Seoul. This marks Louis Vuitton's first permanent dining establishment following several pop-up restaurants, such as the 'Our Louis Vuitton' in 2023. The space was designed by renowned architect Frank Gehry with inspiration from Korean tradition and culture. Chef Yoon Tae-kyun, along with Michelin 3-star chef Arnaud Donckele and pastry chef Maxime Frederic, will offer a French dining experience infused with Korean flavors. The restaurant aims to extend the intersection of fashion, culture, and gastronomy into everyday life through the Louis Vuitton culinary community's exploration of unique regional flavors worldwide.
