Paris Baguette Raises Prices of Bread and Cakes by 5.9%

Paris Baguette, a popular South Korean bakery brand, announced that it will be increasing the prices of some of its products by an average of 5.9% starting on the 10th of this month. The price hike will affect 96 types of bread and 25 types of cakes. For instance, the price of "Gudaereutoeseuteu" (a type of toast) will rise from 3,600 KRW to 3,700 KRW, and the "Soboru Bread" (a Korean sweet streusel bread) will increase from 1,500 KRW to 1,600 KRW. The "Strawberry Blossom Cake" will also see a price increase from 19,000 KRW to 19,900 KRW. The company cited rising costs of ingredients and other expenses as the reason for the price adjustment.
