Jepeopjaechnang (Daphniphyllum macropodum), a rare and fragrant plant native to Jeju Island, has bloomed at the National Sejong Arboretum in South Korea. Known for heralding the arrival of spring, its fragrant white flowers are a special attraction. The arboretum's rare species exhibition greenhouse maintains over 200 species, preserving plants that cannot survive outdoor winters. Jepeopjaechnang, also called 'Cheonrihyang' (meaning its fragrance travels a thousand miles), adds to the arboretum's unique botanical offerings.
