Narin Distillery in Gunwi County is launching its premium traditional soju, 'Narin Soju42,' made from local glutinous rice and wheat nuruk (fermentation starter). Events will be held simultaneously in Seoul and Daegu from August 1-2 to celebrate its release. Narin Soju42 is characterized by its rich grain aroma and depth, achieved through distillation without additives. A tasting event for their 'Hyang-eum Pyojun,' a high-quality makgeolli (Korean rice wine), is also ongoing in Daegu. The project is part of Daegu's strategy to promote local food industries and expand traditional Korean spirits globally, including plans for export to the US and Japan.
